With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cleason Emory Stricklin (Cullman, Alabama), who passed away on September 29, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his granddaughter Lisa Kicklighter; his former spouse Arthur Charles Brock; his father Cleason; his wife Velma Bland Kicklighter; his children, Charles Lawrence Stricklin (Janice), Debra Kicklighter, James Kicklighter and Steven Kicklighter (Mary); his brothers, Durwin Brock (Pam) and Darrell Brock (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Sharon Stricklin, Jeremy Stricklin (Cole) and Katy Stricklin; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Hearn, Oliver Hearn, Jude Stricklin, Myles Stricklin and Jordan Hicks.
He studied their locations and using his metal detector gathered a large collection of Civil War artifacts, many of which he donated to local museums.
