He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Artemus "Pete" Holcomb and Opal Sivils Holcomb of Virginia; his siblings, Douglas and Louise; his nephew Brian; and his niece Cynthia.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Snuggs Holcomb; his children, Deletha Hardin (David), Paula Reid (Troy), Lee McGriff (Ashley) and Matt McGriff (Heather); his grandchildren, Bailey Reid, Miko Hardin, Alliyah Yeager (Hunter), Leighton McGriff and Liam McGriff; and his brother Alfred Holcomb.
