With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles A Shafer of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on May 12, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Shafer and Ada Shafer; and his siblings, Kenneth Shafer and Doris Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Clarice Shafer; his son Chuck Shafer; and his grandchildren, Farabee Rose Shafer and Charles Casper Shafer, II.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John's Evangelical Protestant Church, 512 Second Ave, SE, Cullman, AL 35055.
