It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Faye Merritt of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oval Smith and Gladys Griffin Smith; and her sister Willowdean Waldrop. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Merritt (Marissa), Jeff Merritt, Theresa Quick (Eric), Kristi Merritt and Alicia Brooke Henderson; her siblings, Rickie Smith (Nancy) and Linda Smith; and her pets, Midnight, Speedycat and Smoky. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the following organizations: St. Jude's Children Hospital or the Cullman Animal Shelter.
