With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Berta Nell Townsel of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on October 15, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Townsel; her son Jimmy "Jimbo" Townsel; her sons-in-law, Steve Murphy and Thomas Foster; and her parents, Otis Bryant and Lucille Bryant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Murphy, Bobbie Slatton (David), Vickie Snow and Shannon Townsel; her grandchildren, Amber Murphy, Brandi Townsel, William Townsel, Anthony Townsel, Joseph Slatton, Shiena Jones, Britney Lee, Bret Townsel, Aislyn Townsel and Raelyn Townsel; and her siblings, James Bryant (Sue), Joe Bryant and Margaret Howell (Steve). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
