With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Sandlin of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Clarence and Alice Marie Aycock Burgess; her sisters-in-law, Wanda Burgess and Barbara Burgess; her sister Vera Campbell; her brother-in-law Larry Tucker; and her brother Rayburn Burgess.

She is survived by: her daughter Jean Lewis (Carl); and her siblings, Jessie Burgess, Bobby Burgess, Jerry Burgess (Angie), Donald Burgess (Elaine), Joe Burgess (Lynda), David Burgess (Vicki), Lillie Tucker, Brenda Duke (Charlie), Rita Aker (Larry) and Patsy Klein (Tim). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
