He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Shedd and Lillie Johns Shedd; his siblings, Nancy Gaines and Darrell Shedd; and his niece Tina Latta.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Shedd; his children, Bo Shedd (Melinda), Toby Shedd (Alisha) and Lora Prince (Derek); his stepsons, Tim Earl (Gayla) and Richie Earl (Amy); and his sister Shirley White (Bob).
