She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Bragg and Lois Truelove Bragg; and her sister June Beavers. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Byrd; her children, Sherry Byrd and Steve Byrd (Joy); her sister Kay Caldwell; her grandchild Shannon Hardin (Thomas); and her great grandchildren, Addy Claire Thomas, Tucker Hardin and Cloey Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
