He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Miller Dial; his children, Edwin Russell Dial, III and Kristen R. Dial (Nick Stewart); his stepsons, Maurice Joseph Fitz-Gerald, III and Charles Douglass Fitz-Gerald (Lauren); his grandchildren, Krista Dial, Christian Stewart, James Fitz-Gerald, Alice Fitz-Gerald, Rhett Fitz-Gerald, Charlie Fitz-Gerald, Oliver Fitz-Gerald and Harper Fitz-Gerald; and his sister Carolyn Dial Stapleton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
