He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gene Harry and Gladys Colburn Harry; and his son Dennis Randall Harry. He is survived by: his wife Helen Stevens Harry; his sons, Michael Harry and Shane Smith; his granddaughter Lori Cutway (Daniel); his sons, Corey Smith, Britany Harry, D. J. Harry and Kevin Harry; his great grandchild Morgan Woods; his granddaughter Sierra Cutway; and his siblings, Deborah Harry Simon (Danny), Darlene Simmons (Ray), Denise Shumate (Steve) and Dewayne Harry (Lisa).
