He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Cookston and Gertrude Cookston; his wife Carolyn Ruth; and his children, Thresa (Winston), Lorine (Dewayne), Franklin (Denise), Chris (Tina) and Brandon (Brendia). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
