He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Ray Barksdale; and his parents, George Barksdale and Jewel Barksdale. He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Sue Hall Barksdale of Crossville; his daughter-in-law Mona Barksdale of Crossville; his grandsons, Caleb Barksdale of Hampton Cove and Jacob Barksdale of Auburn; and his sister-in-law Ann Mitchell (Randy) of Crossville.
