He is survived by: his children, Michael Blount (Helen) of Cropwell, AL, Brenda Blount of Oxford, MS and Cindy Thomas of Oxford, MS; his sister Mary Alice Ray (Raymond) of Cleveland, MS; and his grandchildren, Jason Bassie, Sheri Gentry, Kandice Dill and Michael Vincent Blount. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
