It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy R. Butterworth of Cropwell, Alabama, born in Eastaboga, Alabama, who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Butterworth and Pauline Butterworth; and his sisters, Bessie Nell Hays and Polly Jo Wingo. He is survived by: his wife Beulah Butterworth; his son Glenn Butterworth (Beth); his granddaughters, Lauren McCreless (Kameron) and Ami Hong (Justin); his great grandchildren, Ellison McCreless, Grant McCreless and Ann Parker Hong; and his siblings, Betty Barnwell, Louis, Virgil, Willard, Phillip and Frank Butterworth.

The family suggests that any memorials be made to the Big Oak Ranch or Cropwell Baptist Church (Missions).
