He is survived by: his mother Renee Compton; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Reed; his brother Trent Compton; his father-in-law Harold Reed; his wife Mary Elizabeth Reed-Compton; his children, Lauren Reed, Ashley Schwenn, Destiney Davis, Kimberly Reed, Keith Schwenn and Andrew Schwenn; his granddaughter Savannah Shager; and his nephew Justin Dupree. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
