He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Jennings Rushing; his children, Bridget Rushing Hill (Matt) and Rockie Rushing (Leslie); his mother Hazel Beatrice Speegle Rushing; and his sisters, Sandra Rushing Sinyard and Karen Rushing. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren.
