He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezekiah Stewart and Annie B. Stewart; his daughter Louneal Stewart; and his siblings, Beatrice Hanson, Dorothy Stewart, Mozzell Mitchell, Hezekiah Jr., Underwood, Butler and R. B. Stewart.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Nell Stewart of Cragford and Jessie Stewart of Cragford; and his grandchildren, Crystal Stewart, Ricky Stewart, Bubba Stewart, Lorene Porter, Joseph Stewart and Floyd Stewart. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
