We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2024, at the age of 79, Don Johnson Gay of Cragford, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Gay and Dorothy Johnson Gay; his daughter Kelly Railey; his grandson Tyler Crowder; his great grandchild Joanna Joy Fowler; and his brother Max Gay.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Ayres Gay of Cragford; his children, Cindy Cleveland (David) of Alex City, Stacey Fowler of Wedowee, Mary Clancy Hilyer (Jon) of Tallassee, Chris Gay (Nikki) of Cragford and John Gay (Holly) of Front Royal, VA; his sons-in-law, Lauren Railey and Scott Fowler; his brother-in-law Alan Ayres; and his niece Robin Mitchell. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
