She was predeceased by: her parents, George Robinson and Beatrice Mason Robinson; her brother James Robinson; her parents-in-law, Melvin Puryear, Sr. and Anne Kate Puryear; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin Puryear, Jr., Clyde Grady Puryear, Donnie Lloyd Puryear, Phyllis Mayes and Felicia Barrett.
She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Boyd Puryear; her brother Ronnie Boyd Puryear; her sons, Ronorick Puryear (Marquis) of Courtland, AL, Rodreggus Puryear (Larissa) of Courtland, AL, Jemayel Puryear (Setika) of Town Creek, AL and Tevin Puryear of Courtland, AL; her stepdaughter Nakia Young of Decatur, AL; her siblings, Hattie Guster (George), Mary Tucker, Annie Fitzgerald (Elijah), Gloria Goines (Houston), Ida Robinson, Janelle Sanders (Henry), Dennis Robinson (Chantan), Robert Robinson (Cynthia) and Charlie Robinson (Pearlene); her siblings-in-law, Nadine Langham (Roy), Dorothy Jean Garth, Patricia Puryear, Glenda Puryear, Eva Jackson, Leroy Puryear (Linda), Carl Edward Puryear and Floyd Wayne Puryear; and her close friends, Carolyn Sue Rains, Shirley Woods, Deloris Fitch and Shillar Sanders. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
