He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Achord and Callie Moore Achord; his wife Juneeler "June" Lucinda Spencer Hart; his children, Jackie Vernon Achord, Jerry Hart and Kay McMullin (Gary); and his brothers, Lester Achord, Elton Achord and Paul Achord.
He is survived by: his children, JoAnne McGill (Darrell) of O'Fallon, MO, Julie Marks (Tim) of Marsielles, IL, James Achord (Rhonda) of Decatur, AL, Kelly Achord (Julie) of Moulton, AL, Angela Rollins (Kevin) of Eureka, MO and Patricia Colbert (late Dion) of Calico Rock, AK; his grandchildren, Justin Reynolds (Whitney), Jessica Goodman (Tim), Amanda Pingel (Michael), Kathryn Burbridge (Josh), Nicole Marks, Melissa Burke (Ryan), Michael Marks, Kari Achord Covington, Kayla Ewing (Erik), Kyle Achord, Amber Achord, Audrey Rollins and Andrew Rollins; and his pet Jerico.
