He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Weldon and Maudi Johnson Weldon; and his brothers, Jack, Rudolph and Talmedge Weldon.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Weldon; his children, Eddie Cureton (Rita), Connie Carrasco (David) and Denise Davidson (Boyd); and his siblings, Charles Weldon (Joyce), Donald Ray Weldon (Joyce), Ralph Weldon, Patsy Head and Ann Sanders (Wayne). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
