He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Blackie, Sr. and Margaret Blackie (Marro). He is survived by: his children, Alex and James; his wife Barbara Blackie (Meeneghan) of Laconia; his children, Jamie Blackie (Rita) and Alexandria Blackie; and his grandchild Owen James Blackie. He is also survived by 2 nephews and 6 nieces.
