She was predeceased by: her parents, William B. Matthews (Melinda Wiggins Matthews) and Audrey; her husband Cecil Thomas; her grandchildren, Robert Beswick, Victoria Beswick and Ronald Thomas; and her siblings, J. B. Matthews, David Matthews, Evelyn Dewey, Loise Cockran and Florette Bracknell.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Thomas, Cecil R. Thomas (Suzanne), Donna May and Janice Beswick. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
