He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Sanders; his children, Kristi Bardon and Michael Sanders; and his parents, Eligie Sanders and Beatrice Sanders.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Jimmy Bardon (Belynda); his siblings-in-law, Glenda Broughton (Delores Wallace) and Clayton Hallman (Shelia); his grandchildren, Lisa Smith, Kaylee Miller (Rory) and Chastity Faulkner (Jason); and his cousin Terrell Wheat (Ann). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Park (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404).
