She was predeceased by: her husband David M. Smart; her son David R. Smart; her son-in-law Harold Harvey; and her siblings, James McDaniel, Billy Joe McDaniel, Virginia Vickerson and Jean Vickerson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Smart Harvey and Lisa Smart Robertson (Rex); her daughter-in-law Anita Lindsey Smart; her grandchildren, Lee Hutchins, Martin Harvey Smith, Jonathan Smart, Hannah Robertson Wilson and Robert Collins; her niece Marg Ann Brooks; and her close friend Dot Deason. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
