He was predeceased by: his daughter Claudia Kelley McGee; and his grandparents, Sampson Eldridge "Gee" McGee, Nellie Colvin "Bobo" McGee, William "Claude" Ray and Thelma Faye "Nana" Baker Ray.
He is survived by: his parents, James E. "Buddy" McGee and Carolyn Ray McGee; his sons, James Marc "Gee" McGee (Heather) and Jon Wesley McGee (Deana); his grandchildren, Emalee, Aiden, Ryder, Estes and Marek; his siblings, Elisa (David), Ashley (Sara), Chris (Miriam) and Jennifer (Bo); his nieces and nephews, Brett, Rachael, Meghan, Jason, Bryant and Walker; his aunt Gladys Ray; his uncle Billy Ray (Mary); his significant other Linda Dawson; his sons, Jeremey and Jake (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Kathryn and Connor. He is also survived by numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews.
