With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Rutledge (Cottondale, Alabama), who passed away on July 28, 2018 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Rutledge; her mother Ovie Syring; and her sisters, Myrtice Higginbotham and Bernice Brown. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Christian of Cottondale, Judy Wyatt of Moundville and Marilyn Fanning of Cottondale.

COTTONDALE - Elizabeth Rutledge, age 83, of Cottondale, Ala., went to be with her Lord July 28, 2018 at Hospice of West Alabama after a long illness of Dementia/Alzheimer's.
