It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Eugene Poe of Cottondale, Alabama, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Poe and Nancy Hollingsworth (Gayle Montgomery Poe). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Bunn Poe; his sons, Derek Poe (Sherry) and J. R. Poe (Lauren); his stepdaughter Sonja Kerr (Ben); and his brothers, Dwayne Poe (Marjorie), Stonie Poe (Wendy) and Eric Petrosino (Richard). He is also survived by "Poppa" to his nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
