It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Michael Champion of Cottondale, Alabama, who passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Champion and Johnny Champion; his son Doug Champion; and his siblings, Charles Champion, Ralph Champion, James Champion and Marie Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Champion; his sons, Mike Champion (Tancy) and James Champion (Michelle); his stepdaughter Stephanie Mooney (Dewayne); his siblings, JD Champion and Jackie Allen (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Amanda Champion, James Champion, Tony Mooney (Bailee), Mickey Champion, Johnny Champion, Haley Donaldson (Mitch), Jenna Barnhill (Corey) and Matthew Champion; and his great grandchildren, Landon Earley, Madison Champion, Alaina Mazurek and Allison Mazurek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
