With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Kelley of Cottondale, Alabama, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Thrasher and Ola Dean Thrasher; and her sister Joyce Simpson. She is survived by: her siblings, Sherrye Pruitt (Donnie) of Berry and David Thrasher of Mississippi.

“There's so much to say about Dot, she was definitely one of a kind. She was a mess for sure. I miss my friend, she will always be in my heart. I met her a long time ago at Bryces. She would sometimes drive me crazy, and would ask me some of the craziest questions,. She was the only person that could embarrass me. Oh the things she would say, I'm going to miss our crazy conversations. I love you Dot and I will always miss you, oh and guess you never made it to the VCR you were going to bring”
