She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Grady and Gracie Mae Patton; her daughter Linda Gail Englebert; her brother Billy Joe Patton; her great grandchildren, Brianna Smith and Lillian Smith; the father of her children Howard Clarence Hendrix; and her husband John Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Tingle (Mark), Cindy Woods (Phillip), Debbie Bell (Terry), Kim Albright (Dwain) and Jamie Hendrix (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Ashley Goodwin (Will), Shane Johnson (Amber), Justin Johnson (Jennifer), Brandon Johnson (Katie), Kevin Morris (Kylie), Chris Smith (Autumn), Brandi Smith and Mark Tingle; her friend Carol Richardson; her grandson Mark Anthony Tingle; her son-in-law Mark Tingle; her friend Paulette Albright (family: Shelia Davis, Carol Richardson, Sandra Hayes); her cousin Sherry Brumett (family: Patton); and her caregivers, Katlynne, Janice, Dorothy, Amanda, Brooksie, Liz, Darlene and Rose. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (12601 Hargrove Rd E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35453). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery (12601 Hargrove Rd E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35453).
