It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Levan of Cordova, Alabama, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David H. Gilman of Georgia and Mary Louise Adams (Bryan K. Levan); and her brother Tommy Hearn. She is survived by: her siblings, Wade Hearn (Lois), Gene Hearn (Mitzi), Jack Wilcher (Heather), Danny Gilman, Randy Gilman and Ruth Hearn Ferguson (Johnny). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that any remembrances take the form of donations to the NW Family Resource Center of Jasper in honor of Ruby.
