She was predeceased by: her husband Kirby Lee Black; her son James Leamon Black; her grandson Steven Michael Black; her great grandchild Dana Lee Conner; and her siblings, Glendon Hyche, Mildred Chambers, Matha Lou Garner, Willard Kelly, J. T. Kelly and James Kelly.

She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Kelly of Bessemer, AL and Claudette Mason of Quinton, AL; and her granddaughters, Sharon Conner of Cordova, AL and Jan Higgins of Cordova, AL. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
