He was predeceased by: his father W. T. Vance; his sister-in-law Becky Vance; his father-in-law Billy Joe Ingram; and his nephew Daniel Ingram. He is survived by: his former wife Kim Ingram Vance; his mother Vertrice Vance; his mother-in-law Mary Ingram; his children, Molly Vance Holt (Tyler) and Joseph Thomas Vance; his siblings, Gatha Minor (Clinton), Ricky Vance, Dennis Vance and Lenny Vance (Susie); and his granddaughter Harper Jane Holt.
