He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul T. Lawson Sr. and Patricia Sanford Lawson; and his son James Preston Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Heather Denise Lawson; his children, Rachel McAfee (David), Paul "PJ" Lawson (Brooke), Adam Lawson (Megan) and Andrew Lawson; and his brothers, Scott Lawson, Marty Lawson (Betty) and Shane Lawson (Mandi). He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren.
