He is survived by: his wife Aileen Nichols; his sons, Kenneth Lee Nichols of Cordova and Kevin Nichols (Jennifer) of Cullman; his sister Lois Russell; his grandchildren, Mallory Armstrong (Braxton) and Kolton Nichols; and his great grandchild Oliver Armstrong.
