He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde L. Jones and Virginia Jones; and his sister Margaret Bryan Jones (Charles). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Garner Jones; his sons, Foster David Jones, Jr. (Lindsey) and Christopher Michael Jones (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Mary Garner Jones, Raleigh Isabella Todd, Molly Kate Jones, Amos Bryan McKee Jones, Noah Schwartz and Stokely Schwartz; his sister Judith Richardson (Charlie); and his close friend David "Doc" Wilson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hatt Church of Christ Cemetery (9430 Hwy 269, Parrish, AL 35580).
