He was predeceased by: his parents, Deweese Owen, Sr. and Daisy Owen; and his stepbrother Jay Cox. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Woodard (Adam) of Savannah, TN and Jason Owen (Kim) of Jasper, AL; his siblings, Anna Carter (Jerry) and Terry Owen (LeighAnn); and the mother of his children Pauline Bailey. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren.
