It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cindy Basenberg of Cordova, Alabama, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cindy Basenberg to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda Daniel and Chester Sherer; her stepfather Robert Daniel; and her brothers, Chester Sherer, Jr. and Ricky Sherer.

She is survived by: her close friend Gary Jordon "Sonny"; her grandson Nicholas Dill; her daughters, Candace Dobbins Lilly and Tracy Dobbins; her son-in-law Mitch Lilly; her siblings, Belinda Lawson (Dwight) and Nathan Sherer (Brittney); her grandchildren, Kyla Wallace, Justin Wallace, Londyn Lilly, Logan Lilly, Emary Dobbins, Curtis Bell and Soon; and her great grandchild Scarlett Phillips.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made towards the funeral expenses.
