He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Ferguson and Bertha Ferguson; and his siblings, Berlene Sweatt, Richard, Cecil Jr., Pat, Dale, Jimmy and Berry (Peanut).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ferguson; his sister Gloria Greathouse; his children, Roger Ferguson (Greg), Angie Loftis (Gary) and Cristy Castleberry (Randy); his grandchildren, Ashley Wideman (Donnie), Kelsey Giles (Brandon), Amber Loftis, Ryan Loftis (Autumn), Austin Ferguson (Brooklyn), Dylan Lee, Brooklyn Lee, Clay Castleberry and Owen Castleberry; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Wideman, Cole Wideman, Ezra Wideman, Blake Werts, Berkley Werts, Sawyer Giles, Ayden Cole and Madalyn Ferguson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
