It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelton Griffith of Columbiana, Alabama, born in Prentiss, Mississippi, who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Griffith and Ruthie Lee Anderson Griffith; his wife Bernice Crisp Griffith; his sons, Gary Griffith (Pam) and Darryl Griffith (Candice); his siblings, Jerry Griffith (Veta), Tony McLaurin (Zonzie), Donald Burkett, Jr. (Kabrina), E. Todd Burkett (Gwendolyn), Judy Thompson (Jesse), JoAnn Coker (Daniel) and Janice Cross; and his stepmother Genorla Griffith. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
