With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Purser of Columbiana, Alabama, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Purser; her parents, James William Harden and Mattie Lois Miles Harden; and her brother James William Harden, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Heather Hopson (Randy) of Columbiana and Michael Purser (Meredith) of Spanish Fort; her sister Ellen Harris of Birmingham; and her grandchildren, Ryan Grater, Jeremiah Hopson, Jacob Hopson, Zander Purser, Wyatt Purser, Bennett Purser and James Connor Purser.
