He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Roberta Parker Caldwell; and his siblings, Curtis Clyde Caldwell "Buster" and Sandra Caldwell Kirkpatrick "Sandie". He is survived by: his wife Joyce Popwell Caldwell; his niece Tiffany Trejo; his nephews, Michael Kirkpatrick, Christopher Popwell, Daniel Popwell (Shelia) and Michael Popwell; and his pet Buttercup.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Crest Cemetery (5730 US-78, Birmingham, AL 35210).
