He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hallman and Inez Hallman; his brothers, Henry and Mike Hallman; his brother-in-law Gerald Lingo; and his son-in-law Mark E. White.

He is survived by: his pet Tabby; his wife Kay Marie Hallman; his daughters, Sarah Jeanne Hallman (Fiona Apple), Cynthia Louise Hallman, Tamara Dayle Hallman (Mario Neavez) and Kelly Jane Stevenson (Stanley); his stepdaughters, Kim Marie Reid (Mike Olsen) and Daphne Larkin White; and his sisters, Sue Hallman Bynum (Wayne), Janet Hallman Lingo and Diane Hallman Smith.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations in Jerry Hallman's name may be made to the Shelby County Humane Society.
