It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Mooney (Columbiana, Alabama), who passed away on January 5, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Seale and Richard Eugene Mooney; his brothers, Carl Mooney and Robert Mooney; his brother-in-law Ronny Conn; and his sisters, Linda Chandler and Jeanette Spradlen.
He is survived by: his sister Sara Conn; his cousin Fran Seale; his nieces and nephews, Jean Ambrose, Terry Zoppina (Tony), Shannon Chandler (Bridgett), Angie Nash (Chris), Michele Faulkner (Wade), Ali Payne (Chris) and Beth Horton (Brandon); and his close friend Gerrie Jarnigan. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; and numerous special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Skillet Byrd Toy Ministry at Columbiana United Methodist Church (P.O. Box 676, Columbiana, AL 35051). Donations made in Jerry's memory will be used to purchase bicycles for children at Christmas.
