He is survived by: his wife Kay Blankenship Garrett; his children, Amanda Hileman (Isaiah), Ben Garrett, Matt Garrett, Sandra Hodge, Susie Brasher, Kim Bell (Preston) and Gene Benson (Kelli); his grandchildren, Jonathan Hileman, Elijah Hileman, Lydia Hileman, James Horton, Whitney Creel (Dustin), Landon Sheffield, Wesson Benson, Jonathan Brasher and Melony Brasher; his great grandchild Kingslei Creel; and his siblings, Howard Garrett, Ferman Garrett, Lylus Franklin, Linda Jones (Landon) and Frank Garrett.
