He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howell and Janie Howell; his wife Elsie Jones Howell; his son Phillip Howell; and his siblings, Tommy Howell, Bobbie Faye Hunt, Martha Carden, Billie Sue Noah and Hazel Gifford.
He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Martin (Walter); his grandsons, Jared, Lance, Wade Martin, Ethan and Clay Howell; and his nephew Allen Barnes. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bolton Funeral Home (207 Hwy 47, Columbiana, AL 35051). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
