He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Burbank; his brother Albert Burbank; his parents, Josephine Burbank and Albert Burbank; and his son-in-law Ronnie Vansant.

He is survived by: his granddaughters, Paige Dill and Shanea Creighton; and his children, Mark Burbank (Donna), Debbie Joiner (Terry), Cynthia Haskins (Joel), Laurie Walden (Joseph) and Marla Vansant. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
