He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Duffey and Oscar Griffin; his wife Patsy D. Griffin; and his siblings, Sandra Clements, Lloyd Griffin and George Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Blake Griffin (Denise) and Paige Herring (Richie); his brother Jamie Duffey; his grandchildren, Douglas Griffin, Karen Lovejoy (Joseph), Cody Griffin (Olivia), Matthew McCullar, Lexi McCullar and Cole Herring; and his great grandchildren, Camren Davidson and Acesyn Griffin.
He bravely fought the terrible disease of Alzheimer's till the very end.
