He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Hubert Wayne Smothers; his children, Amber Smothers (Vandegrift), Ashley Smothers (David Davis), Norman Newsome (Ellana) and Corey Paxton (Mel); his mother Brenda Shelley McCullough; his brothers, David Smothers and Jeff Smothers; his stepmother Marie Smothers; his stepbrothers, Russell Bailey and Kenneth Bailey (Angela); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Brailynn, Caiden, Dawson, Carson, Everly and Jasper.
